[ Despite agreeing, its nearly ten minutes before he comes down to the kitchen. It took some psyching himself up to have this conversation in person. ]

...Hey, dude.

[ Lance is in warmer pajamas than his usual flowy Altean pjs, but he's wearing his Lion slippers. It also looks like he hasn't slept well in a few days. ]

[ Keith's in his pajamas — which look pretty identical to his regular clothes, but with loose black pants instead of tight black jeans. He's also sitting in the couch in the very dim night light with a whole box of cereal propped against his side. ]

Hey.

[ If it helps, Keith looks pretty uncomfortable, too. ]

[ Lance flops on the other end of the couch and immediately reaches into the cereal box, chomping through a handful. Eating is easier than talking. ]

[ There's a pause that lasts for a painfully long time, until finally Keith feels like not talking is the more uncomfortable option. ]

... You're a good pilot, Lance.

[ And now it's his turn to shove a handful of cereal in his mouth. ]

[ Lance looks up, genuinely a little startled. ]
